The Chiasma Press is a small publishing house that was established in June 1999 to encourage bridge-building between the sciences and the arts. We do this by producing books that are both accessible to general readers and of interest to specialists. We use the Greek word chiasma, which refers to an x-shape, to symbolise our cross-cultural approach.

Our present emphasis is on a particularly important bridge-building site, where neuroscience meets psychology and philosophy.

Our books are commissioned according to an established programme and so we do not consider unsolicited submissions for publication.

Our other web pages describe our books and how they may be obtained.
